Who are we, if not measured by our impact on others?

That’s who we are! We’re not who we say we are, we’re not who we want to be —
we are the sum of the influence and impact that we have, in our lives, on others.”

Over the years, I have simultaneously navigated roles in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. In the private sector, I have taken on various technology roles, including digital communications, user interface design and development, database management, software migrations, customer implementations, project management, and product management. I have worked directly with customers, navigated business partnerships, and led cross-team collaborations involving executive leadership, sales, engineering, quality assurance, and customer support.

In the public sector, my work has included serving on municipal commissions, regional boards, and as a state legislator. As a legislator, I focus on policies that advance consumer protections and regulate digital technologies. I have also dedicated myself to the nonprofit sector, serving at all levels of leadership, founding several organizations, and launching a nonprofit community workspace as its Executive Director.

Across all of these roles, my true strength lies in applying a systems-thinking approach to identify patterns within complex ecosystems and in connecting the right people and resources to solve problems. As a leader, I prioritize ensuring all voices are heard and foster collaboration rather than relying on top-down approaches. I am often called upon in situations where creative disruption is needed to manage change and develop innovative solutions.

I am passionate about using technology to empower communities and advance civic engagement, education, economic development, and community building. I am endlessly curious, always learning, and deeply enjoy connecting with people on a personal level.
